Meet the Artists

Lois and Rachel are a mother daughter team of artists. Both Rachel and Lois have been creating and selling art for a number of years on their own. In the summer of 2022, they decided to join forces and created "The Painters Knot".

Rachel Surerus

Rachel has been creating art almost since birth. Starting with Barbie band-aids stuck to paper, she has developed her style over the years, with a degree in Graphic Design. Her art comes in many mediums however her favorite is a pen and paper.

Lois Surerus

Lois had an interest in art from an early age, but put it aside to focus on work and family. After taking art lessons with her kids when Rachel was 11, she renewed her interest in painting, specializing in Acrylic Paint Pours.
